English composition is not easy and anyone saying otherwise is lying to your face. There are so many rules and regulations that can blow your mind.

If you are a native English speaker then your problems are doubled. It is because speaking English and writing English are two entirely different matters.

Just take proverbs for example.

When do you use proverbs? I am sure you were taught this once but you have long forgotten it.

Well, I can tell you how and when to use proverbs and make your composition look amazing. So, unless you are thinking of contacting a professional essay writer, I suggest you take a look at some of these tips.

Tip 1: Use it as a Hook

Believe it or not, proverbs can be a great way to catch a reader’s attention. If you need a hook statement to begin your essay, then use a proverb. A well-known proverb.

A well-known proverb will immediately hook your reader in and make them interested in what you have to say.

Tip 2: Use it in a Dialogue

If you are writing a narrative essay or any other type of work that requires dialogues then best use a proverb in it.

This will make your dialogue seem natural.

If your character says things like “Don’t cry over spilled milk” then it will seem more human to the readers as they will be able to relate to it.

Tip 3: Conclude with a Proverb

Usually, you are told that your essay should have a good conclusion that should leave the reader thinking. But how do you do that?

Simple. End your essay with a proverb. Again, use a well-known one or there is not much point to it.

Also, you need to leave a lasting impression on the reader so use a thought-provoking proverb.

Tip 4: Reflect on a Proverb

You can also include a proverb in your essay to reflect on it. How so? Well, you can challenge it or put in your own thoughts related to it.

If you write “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” then you can also reflect on how true you think the statement is.

You can talk about how beauty standards are almost the same across the globe.

Tip 5: Base Your Story Around One

You can always start your story with a proverb and then continue to relate to it all across your composition.

If you say that “a leopard never changes its spots” then your story can be about a person who never changed.

Or how you were duped by such a person.

You will just have to relate your story to the proverb.

Tip 6: Never Use it in an Argument

Ok, this is a must rule you have to follow. Proverbs are not used in arguments. You can’t say that a statement is true because of a proverb.

This is what you call a “logical fallacy”. It is one of those things that your teachers tell you to avoid.

If you want to use it in an argument then fine. But never use it as evidence as proverbs are not evidence.

Tip 7: Contact a Service Anyway

Ok so if you want to contact a writing service then go for it. I know that learning all this stuff can be hard and overwhelming. So, if you think that a good essay writing service can help you, then there is no harm in trying on for yourself.
